1. The Montmartre Cocktail
Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. triple sec
Directions: Shake with ice. Pour into rocks glass filled with ice.
The Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients:
Champagne
Ice Cubes
Lemon Twist
Sugar Cubes
Bitters
Directions: 1. Soak a sugarcube in a few splashes of bitters.
2. Put sugarcube in the bottom of a wine glass (not a champagne glass
or champagne flute).
3. Add 1 ice cube, 1 lemon twist.
4. Fill glass (slowly!) with champagne.
Warning: The sugar makes the champagne foam and overflow if you pour
too quickly. It is also a deceptively strong drink.
